Invisalign is the clear alternative to braces and was designed with the patient in mind. It consists of a series of clear plastic trays called aligners. Each aligner must be worn for a minimum of two weeks and gently and continuously moves teeth in small increments towards a predetermined result. The aligners are removable for eating, brushing and flossing as normal and not to forget, they’re practically invisible. Achieving an ideal result comes down to the patient to ensure the aligners are worn at least 22 hours a day.
